Salvation (Eph
2:8-9)
We believe that a
person can only be saved when they put their faith in the Lord Jesus. Salvation is given by the grace of
God and not because of one's own works. True confession, faith and trust in Christ will lead to
repentance from sin. At the
point of salvation, an individual becomes a new creation in Christ and is
gradually transformed to become more like Jesus.

The Church (1 Cor 12:12-27, Eph 3:9-10)
We believe in the worldwide (universal)
Church, made up of all those who trust in Christ throughout every age,
together as the Body of Christ.
In the same way, we believe in local churches which are made up of
believers who regularly meet together in different areas to worship, hear
the Word of God, fellowship, witness, take communion and pray, among other
activities. Every Christian
should be a member of a local church.

Baptism and Communion (Acts 2:34-38, 1 Cor 11:23-32)
We believe that baptism is the immersion
of a person completely in water, the symbol of the death, burial and
resurrection of Christ. Those
receiving baptism must be born again and must have put their trust in the
Lord Jesus. Communion is a
ceremony to remember the death of Jesus. It is to be celebrated often, when
believers gather together, until Jesus returns.

Healing (Acts
4:30, 1 Cor 12:9, James 5:14)
We believe it is God's normal intention
to heal Christians who have sicknesses or diseases, except at times when
God allows them to leave this world to be with Him. The Church must follow the command
of Christ to heal the sick through prayer and to minister to them through
the miraculous power of God.
We do not reject medicines or procedures from medical science, nor
do we believe that God always heals the sick immediately. However we acknowledge that at
times He has a purpose in gradually healing people.

Worship (Jn
4:23-24, Ps 150:1-6)
We believe that
Christians must worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. Worship is acknowledging the
worthiness of God and opening our hearts to God. Worshipping according to Biblical patterns enables us to
use outward expressions to come close to God. Some of the patterns we find in Scriptures include
worship with other Christians, using musical instrument, singing, and using
the gifts of the Holy Spirit during worship times.

Eternal Judgment (Jn 5:24, 2 Thes 1:9, Rev 20:10-15)
We believe that
every person will rise from the dead on the final day. Believers will live with God in
heaven and will be eternally blessed.
Those who do not believe will be judged and receive eternal
punishment in hell.
